7th Title for Ryan Jenkins at the West of Scotland Open PDF Print E-mail

Ryan Jenkins (Wales) won his 7 title at the West Open beating the Scot Craig Howieson in the final. The Women's title also went to Wales, with Naomi Owen retaining her title, beating Charlotte Cairey (Wales)  in the final. Scots dominated the Junior Events with Scott Barton taking both the under 21 and under 18 events, Blair Fowler the under 15, Chris Wheeler the under 13, and Lucy Elliot the under 13 girls.

Calendar - UKCC, Entry Forms PDF Print E-mail

The UKCC bridging course in March at Durmchapel High School has been changed to Saturday 26 March. Detalis are on the events calendar.
Entry Forms for the Scottish National Championships (5, 6 March Holyrood Sports Centre)  , the second minor assessment (27 March Meadowmill) , and the second cadet assessment (Bells, 15 May) can now be downloaded from the events calendar.

For those of you who like to travel further afield, the entry form for the Nat West Jersy Open (22 -24 April) can also be downloaded from the calendar.

It is with great regret that we report the passing of Stan Buchan. Stan gave many years of sterling service to Table Tennis Scotland, largely as an umpire and official. My personal recollections of Stan are of a warm and mild-mannered individual, somebody it was always very pleasant to cross paths with at tournaments. I am sure that others will share these feelings. Stan leaves behind loving children Jean and Iain, in addition to their children and grandchildren. The funeral takes place at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 4pm on 21st January.
