The ping-pong tables of Joola are some of the most popular on the market today and as such they deserve a closer evaluation. Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table Review

In this review, we are going to collate all pertinent information about the Joola Midsize table tennis table. We are also going to assess the feedback provided by those who have already used this ping-pong table. Moreover, we are going to evaluate this ping-pong table based on the following parameters of design, durability, ease of assembly, price, dimensions, ease of storage, and warranty.

  • Design

The Joola Midsize table tennis consists of two table halves that are fused together to form a single table tennis table. However, you can also use each of the two halves as a separate table for other purposes other than playing ping-pong. This table is very compact and is hassle-free to set up. It has a standard height but has smaller playing surface which is perfect for use in compact area.

It has a very simple design and is supported by sturdy folding legs. The legs are attached to the table and they fold down and lock easily into place. Each leg, likewise, is connected to each other for level playing surface. It also comes with custom net set for easy setting up of net.

  • Durability

You can’t surely expect this type of table tennis table to be durable. It is not meant for heavy banging and long hours of games. The Joola Midsize is only meant for leisurely ping-pong games for light workout and for small kids who would like to enjoy their time playing ping-pong with each other.

Compared to other more expensive models of table tennis tables, this one is not meant to last for several years. It is not a tournament-grade table tennis table and as such is only meant for light and leisurely plays. Thus, if you are looking for durability, this one is not a good choice to buy.

  • Ease of Assembly and Ease of Storage

When it comes to ease of assembly, you can surely set the Joola Midsize table tennis table within 10 minutes out-of-the-box. It is pretty easy to assemble, and it comes 100% pre-assembled. You simply need to unfold its legs and then attach the net, and off you are ready to play ping-pong. It also doesn’t require much space to set up unlike the tournament-sized tables.

When it comes to ease of storage, it is really one of the easiest ping-pong tables to stack away. You simply need to fold its legs and lock them in to ensure that they will not unfold easily. It does not require much space for storage. 

  • Price

The Joola Midsize table tennis table belongs to the least expensive ping-pong tables on the market today. You can buy this table for less than $200.

  • Dimensions

The dimensions of the Joola Midsize are 72 x 30 x 36 inches; it also weighs around 49.5 pounds. It is around 2/3 the size of the regulation tables and is around 1/5 the weight of the regulation tables

  • Warranty

The Joola Midsize comes with a one-year warranty against factory defects. This warranty, however, does not cover any misuse of the product.

Pros and Cons of Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table

Pros:

  • The greatest advantage of the Joola Midsize is its smaller size which can readily fit into smaller or cramped area.
  • It is very lightweight and is easy to carry around anywhere you want to play ping-pong.
  • It is very affordable and would not cause any dent on your savings.
  • It is also easy to assemble and comes 100% pre-assembled.

Cons:

  • It is not sturdy compared to bulkier and heavier regulation-size tables.
  • It is also small and as such, it doesn’t give you a real feel of the standard-sized tables.

Conclusion:

This Joola Midsize Table Tennis Table Review is meant to inform consumers about the pros and cons of buying this midsize table tennis table. We think that this table is designed for leisurely ping-pong playing. It is not designed for heavy banging and competitive games.

The Joola Midsize, of course, has its own upsides, being smaller in size, it can fit readily into smaller areas. It is also easy to assemble and quite easy to stack away when not in used. Moreover, it is not that expensive.

Its downsides, of course, are obvious too. It is not sturdy and may not last longer than other sturdy tables. It doesn’t give you the real feel of a regulation-size table. But it is less expensive and if you simply want to enjoy and while away your time playing a ping-pong game, this one is surely a great buy.
